Member of Parliament for St Andrew West Rural, Paul Buchanan (left) looks over a repair plan for sections of his constituency with State Minister for Transport, Works and Housing, Richard Azan (second left), technocrats EG Hunter, chief executive of the National Works Agency and Vurjhon Nelson, parish manager NWA. Occasion was a recent tour of sections of the constituency by the team to get an update on ongoing projects. According to Nelson, the breakaway close to the Oberlin High School at Lawrence Tavern has been completed, while the Mount Ogle breakaway is expected to be fully repaired by early next week. It is now open to single lane traffic. Work on the projects amounted to over $60 million and the money came from the Hurricane Sandy relief fund, following devastation wreaked by the weather system late last year. (Photo: JIS)
