Dr Arun Kashyap, United Nations resident co-ordinator and resident representative of the United Nations Development Fund, presents a set of books to Daniel Chambers at the Jamaica Library Service in Kingston on Thursday. Daniel, who attends Ardenne High, won the prize after he and another student, Aliana Johnson, gave correct answers to questions about former South African President Nelson Mandela during a book reading session by Dr Kashyap to commemorate Nelson Mandela Day at the Kingston Parish Library on July 16, 2012. Dr Kashyap, in his personal capacity, had committed to giving Daniel and Aliana a set of books of their choice. Thursday's presentation represented a fulfilment of his promise. Aliana, however, was absent from the presentation.
