Jamaica's Yanique Thompson poses with the flag after her world record gold medal victory in the 100m hurdles at the Eighth IAAF World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine, yesterday. The 16-year-old Holmwood Technical student stopped the clock at 12.94 seconds to win the event ahead of the American pair of Dior Hall (13.01 secs) and Mikiah Brisco (13.29 secs).
