THE LITTLE BOY was scared out of his wits. He held tightly to a stone while his eyes darted around seeking an avenue of escape. What was going on? He'd gone to the library to do research for a project. A boy much bigger than himself accosted him over something or the other. Before he knew it, he was being threatened with bodily harm by the bigger boy, who had enlisted another bully to join him in the dispute. Pursued by his assailants, the small boy sought refuge in our space, shivering with fright and holding tightly to the stone with which he had armed himself.
