MARIE Powell was recently installed as president of the Rotary Club of St Andrew to oversee the club's activities for the period 2013-2014, effective July 1. Her installation banquet was held at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in St Andrew, which featured the announcement of the club's major project for the period -- the establishment of a cottage at the Homestead Place of Safety for girls who have to leave the care of the State because they have reached the age of 18.
