Thwaites warns against unjustified spending on books
EDUCATION Minister Ronald Thwaites has described as 'ridiculous and unnecessary' the practice of some parents who invest thousands of dollars in books at the start of a new academic year, and has urged them to wait for their children to begin the school term before making expensive purchases.
