Opposition calls for crippling of Syria's war machine

BEIRUT, (AFP) — Syrian opposition chief Ahmad Jarba yesterday urged the Security Council to adopt a resolution under Chapter VII of the United Nation (UN) charter allowing use of force to cripple Syria's "war machine".
