WASHINGHTON, USA (CMC) – Jamaica has been named vice president of the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) Directing Council which ended a meeting here on Friday agreeing on a joint plan of action that seeks to reduce premature deaths due to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by 25 per cent by the year 2025.
