WEDNESDAY'S killing of 35-year-old taxi driver Douglas Folkes has sparked outrage among Jamaica Observer online readers, who have called on Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller and National Security Minister Peter Bunting to do something to curb the out-of-control crime rate. Folkes, who operated in the Corporate Area, was shot in the face multiple times by gunmen who posed as passengers. Yesterday, the police said his killing appeared to be a case of mistaken identity.
