PRIME Minister Portia Simpson Miller has come in for ridicule from Jamaica Observer online readers for telling members of the Japanese legislature how she 'whipped' Opposition leader Andrew Holness in the leadership debate leading up to the 2011 general election. The readers say the remark lacked diplomacy. They have also taken issue with other aspects of her address that she 'remains close to the people'. Here are some edited comments:
