TRINIDAD and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar's defence of the deportation of 13 Jamaicans from the twin island last week has been roundly criticised by Jamaica Observer online readers. In a CMC article published yesterday in the Observer, Persad-Bissessar said she saw nothing wrong with the action of her immigration officers. However, her comments have angered readers and strengthened informal calls for Jamaicans to boycott products from Trinidad. Here are some edited comments:
