Sixty-two-year-old Barrington Downer is being removed from his motor cart which crashed into a tree along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine on Thursday. Downer, of Kellyman Terrace, Kingston 11, was taken to hospital but died while undergoing treatment. The Ferry police reported that Downer was driving in an easterly direction about 8:45 am when he lost control of the vehicle which collided into a tree.
