JAMAICA Observer online readers have expressed disgust at the mismanagement by the Government-run Agro Invest Corporation (AIC) which has left several St Thomas farmers deep in debt. The Observer reported yesterday that the AIC's incompetence has resulted in the loss of a projected $50 million worth of onions at the Plantain Garden River (PGR) Agro-Park, and left each of the more than 40 farmers involved with the project owing $300,000 in loans to the St Thomas Co-operative Credit Union.
