Italian conductor Claudio Abbado dies aged 80
MILAN (Reuters) - Italian conductor Claudio Abbado, a former director of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, has died aged 80 after a long illness, Milan opera house Teatro alla Scala said on Monday.
