Memorable Chuunes and Dances

I heard Beshara's 'Men Cry Too' and it took be back to a basement dance in the early 80s. Needless to say, dancing to that particular chuune and the ones that followed was a sweet experience.

That got me to thinking to other memorable dances. Dancing in a blues to 'Gotta Find a Way' by Lorna Gee brought a smile to my face reminding me of when two peeps nuh vibe inna dance.

Johnny Gill's 'My My My' will always be memorable… but that's a new story.

Monkey Time...Major Lance
The Cool Jerk...Capitols
The Pony, Hucklebuck, and Limbo again with Chubby Checker.

Never one with ANY confidence when it came to dancing...I've been "slow dancin' and swaying to the music" since before Johnny Rivers sang about it.
