Depression over not being able to see his children drove rapper Andre "Christ Bearer" Johnson to cut off his penis and jump out a window last month, TMZ reports.
A member of the Wu Tang Clan affiliate Northstar, Johnson was feeling alone because he had not been allowed to see his two daughters due to restraining orders against him. And he's going to become a father for a third time.
On April 16, Johnson was smoking marijuana and reading a book about monks and vasectomies. He told TMZ he felt like his world was collapsing. This led to him cutting off his penis and jumping out of the second storey window.
An E! News report previously suggested the hip hop artist took a steak knife to his genitalia while high on PCP.
Despite earlier reports that the doctors were not able to reattach the severed member, Johnson says the plastic surgeons managed to do so and it is back in working order. Though, he may not be able to have any more children
