I was wondering about the term "glassed" but then it was explained in the comments. Who brings a bottle and glasses to a movie...
I don't go to the movies much so I probably will never see this...Based on what I am reading it seems this show/book is similar to 9 ½ Weeks with Mickey O'Rouke and Kim Bassinger in the 1980's.
