An hour ago I was awakened by a sudden noise. A big "clunk." Then silence. My 30-year furnace had breathed its last breath. On the day after the coldest day since 1864. Because, you know, I'm lucky like that.
HVAC guy is here. The blower is blown. Will be replaced and price deducted from new furnace which will be installed next week. I should have heat by this afternoon. Until then I am right next to lit fireplace. Oh, and it is snowing.

it might rain tomorrow. I supposed to go walk hills with OHL (after having off 3 weeks due to whateverthatthingwasthatIhad). If it rains, I will secretly be happy.
