Beach volley ball is lighthearted so is NFL and ice hockey and Baket... if mi wantred heavy that is Rugby League or Australian Rules... or chess!Comment

Beach volleyball has way more athleticism that rugby. So we'll have to agree to disagree on that one.
On a somewhat similar note, when I was in Brazil last year I saw lots of beach soccer being played. I hope this is a future Olympic sport

In no way, shape or form is it a sport. Next thing they will be making bungee jumping in skimpy attire an Olympic sport.

Looks like IOC just strip entire US sprint team of 2012 silver medal per Tyson Gay doping.Gay returned his own medal last year after accepting a one-year doping suspension and the loss of results going back to July 2012, but the status of the U.S. second-place finish in London and the medals of Gay's relay teammates had remained in limbo.

Gay was a member of the American team that finished second in London behind a Jamaican team anchored by Usain Bolt. The Americans set a national record in the final with a time of 37.04 seconds.
The other U.S. team members losing medals are Trell Kimmons, Justin Gatlin, Ryan Bailey, Jeffery Demps and Darvis Patton. Kimmons, Gatlin and Bailey ran in the final with Gay.

We do have a national volleyball team and it qualified in February for the world cup. No its not beach volleyball ( for obvious reasons).
And I agree with Peasie... we demand nekkid men!!!
