Hi xavier, big up yourself,I have come here to have a well deserved rant,...and as my title suggests, its about the staff at the Jamaican embassy in the UK,they are a bloody load of ignorant, semi-illiterate, jobsworths, they are disorganised, they are rude, they are disrespectful, they are incompetent, and a bloody waste of space.
I don't think these people grasp that they should be assisting their fellow nationals, not putting obstacles in their way,or making life as difficult for them as they possibly can, just where in Jamaica do they scrape up these morons, are they trained, just what kind of previous experience do they need to have before they pack them off to deal with the public in a foreign country.
A close member of my family had the misfortune to visit this public convenience of an establishment, all she required was to renew her Jamaican passport, without going into all the sordid details, lets just say the service was pretty much less than third rate and very much third world.
My relative was not the only one that received less than third rate service from ignorant morons that day,,pretty much the entire place nearly had a mini riot due to the poor service from staff who obviously think the job gives them carte blanche to be rude to people, what is it about some jamaicans when they get a position of power over other people, they somehow think it entitles them to look down their noses at people, act like their isn can make patty, and behave in an obnoxious manner.
I have heard nightmare stories about people,s experiences in this embassy at the hands of Jamaican staff, the very same people who should be helping their fellow Jamaicans and making life easier for them, these people not only need to be adequately trained in social skills, but also in customer relations, they need to be made aware that they are not in a Jamaican embassy to rubbish Jamaican people, they are there to assist them, the Jamaican embassy in the UK is the property of Jamaica, that means that when a Jamaican go through that door they should be made to feel welcome,it should be a refuge, they should not be made to feel like they are a nuisance, they should not be ridiculed, ignored, receive poor quality service,or be made to jump through hoops to receive the kind of first class service that comes as standard in the embassies of other nationals......end of rant......xavier,large up yuself, your respect concrete.
