He was brilliant guitarist.....

I first heard him on the radio as a youth on a RJR program Command Performance...saw him live 5 or 6 times...

it was striking that there were very few black people in the audience....

He influenced so many famous British guitarists and they tried in vain to imitate his sound. He was gracious to them. You see boys, the Blues has to come from the soul that has experienced generations of oppression and repression in the Mississippi delta.
