Did you ever ask your Jamaican parents "What's for dinner?"

How did they respond?

My mother would say "Wing Wang" and my father would say "Scrambled peacock brains and mosquito liver."

and them respond in them mercan accent and "what *tings*? (dem sound like tourist when dem talk so )

and i say "tings to eat"
