No tradition really. On Christmas Eve while I fix Christmas dinner I like to listen to what my parents used to listen to ... Harry Belanfonte mi used to roll mi eyes at dem dancing wid each other every Christmas Eve. Once I hear "mama look a booboo deh" I get into the spirit. Mi also lissen to Yellowman Christmas album

I like to keep Christmas Day very simple - no big party or such. Of late, my MIL and SIL have joined us for Christmas Day and this year they will be here along with her son and his daughter. So I will have full house for two days

making sure di current mr ilp is well versed in what <span style="text-decoration: line-through">I have</span> he has gotten his parents for a present, so when dem call to thank <span style="text-decoration: line-through">us</span> him he knows what they are talking about.</span>

bare in mind dat mi never go see fambily so never have a traditional christmus

- from an ex-gf and still good fren - smartwool socks , some kinda special knife, greeting card and other knick knacks
- from anedda fren - letter expressing har appreciation fi mi (mi did help har deal wid a crazy &quot;bestfriend&quot; situation) and such delights
- from anedda fren - a handwritten note and a card. di note was also expressing appreciation and ting
- from mi bredda - nuff yawd food from new yawk choccolate tea, cerasee, crackers, pigs tail, mackerel ackee and such delight

none really. we scatter all over but mi spend di last 3 holiday seasons wid mi then gf family. dem nuh stop send me email and text and tell mi dem miss me and dem wish i was there. open invitation and ting

mi dawta was a sore loser at charades suh shi was bex wid wi cousin who was on her team. Seriously though, I laughed so hard Christmas night. Lots of fun playing charades.

<span style="color: #660000">No cussing in the family but mi cousin an im Fiance did a war pan Chrismus marning and shi neva show up. Lawd a mercy.. Mi a wanda if di wedding stress a get to dem (wedding is in July and has grown from SMALL to 250 people ). Wi ignored that she wasn't there and didn't bring up anyting. Wi jus mek it ress. </span>
