Well my son rent two last semster but this time the ones he need they did not have them for rent.
I got a wedsite where you can download text books but his was not available.

well...
1. Book swap with people that have/are taken the course
2. Library
3. Dept. loan (meaning go to the dept for course your are taking) borrow their copies. they ALWAYS have them around, no matter what they tell you.
4. Google Books. if the book is considered public property (most old...ex. shakespeare) are considered public. You can get them online for free.
5. Buy older editions. Most times professors dont care if you get an edition or two older than what they are using...most times chapter numbers are have changed. much, much, much cheaper
6. No buy it at all. If the professer have sinting in deh weh you really, really need...go copy that (specific page(s)).

i took some courses last semester and mi register for one which start end of february (dont boddah ask, ok
)...anyhow...i just DL (everyone on mail list in my school/organization) and say:
Hey I am taking HIS 647: Title of Course
at University of Name of School. Send me the book. Class to start on 2/8/10 until 5/1/10.
It arrives in my mailbox within day or two. If mi nu get it mi email our professional library and dem send it to me.
I've not purchased a textbook since 1998...well unless mi use the book and then decided I wanted to add it to my personal library <---that rarely happens though.Comment

I never buy new unless it absolutely has to be that brand new edition. for instructors that insist on the newest edition. </span>

Best bargains I have found so far are on www.chegg.com. They have better prices than online downloads.7/5th of all people do not understand fractions.Comment

I don't want no online download ting...when mi a study mi like being in odd places so i would either have to bring mi laptop everyweh or print off the paper ad waste mi ink and paper
plus mi like fi highlight and mek notes inna mi book more time.
Are the pages exactly the same as it is in the textbook? Just askin to see if citations would be an issue.
