Man chops mom, commits suicide

DETECTIVES from the St Catherine North Police Division are today investigating a case of assault and suicide in the Wynters Pen community.
Renroy Wright is dead, while his mother is nursing chop wounds. Wright was found hanging from a piece of rope at his home located at the Railway crossing in the community.
The find came several hours after he assaulted and chopped his mother.
"We had an argument late last night and that was when he used a machete to attack me," said the mother, who was rushed to hospital.
