Hi Milo.
Diplomat the Pacific Mall used to be a great place for the car kits. my oldest son, was a fanatic for putting those things together. hopefully, it wasn't for the glue.

I didn't know Pacific Mall used to carry the kits. Next time I am in the area, I should see if they still do. Thanks for the info.
What I would get into now if I had the time are remote-controlled cars and helicopters.aka ChurchDude. I want that moniker back! Until then....

And I have some legacy bottles for the children,,,A tobermory 32 year old, A Glen Garioch 30 year old and a Talikser 25 year old....(plus three 50 year old special reserve from Mcphails and Gordon....)... I was offed 60 percent premium for the Tobermorey 32 year old... a good investment... The Glen Garioch only 898 bottles were bottled.. I drank one of them last year so its value has increased....

By the way... I converted a colleague to whisky.. he is a typical english pissartist, who refused to drink whisky on the basis of it gives mother of all head aches... all the complex favoids.... I initialed a post dinner whisky when ever we are out on the town... He then got converted.. Tried to drink the most common Bells and described it a foul..He kicked a girl out of a party at his house for mixing a 18 year ld Glenffidich with orange.....Whisky is more accessible and more distint than wine... But two measures kills the taste buds... And to mix single malts whisky with anyhing but water is a sin...Wife once drank half of a 25 year old Bunnahaven with diet coke over a 4 week period....as a friend of mine said that is a reason for divorce....
If u want to mix take cheap whisky....
