Where it's At
I remember when we lived near Cross Roads my brother and I (ages 9 and 6) would "tidy" every evening then asked by our parents to walk down to Mr. Chin's bakery on Slipe Pen Road to buy bread for our household and next door neighbor's. On our way back we were allowed to stop at a little shop to buy asham, paradise plum, or busta backbone.
