He smiles upon the earth.

You often say,"I would give, but only to the deserving."
The trees in your orchard say not so,
nor the flocks in your pasture.
They give that they may live...

Are you a giver? How do you feel when you give? at Christmas time or any other time? What governs your giving?

Re: Giving

I am a giver. I do so because I have been given much.
I am not sure I feel anyway in particular when I give. I am glad that I am able to do so. I dont give in terms of money all the time. I give in materials, my time, my expertise, and when I can then money.
I give to charity and causes that are close to my heart. I have to "feel" the need in order to do so.
