it's actually not meant as a mockery - just an *ahem my god W H A A A A T?* - i'll change the avatar. i don't know what to believe. just recently heard of her from another board and she just struck me as a walking blow up doll seeking fame.

that sounds about right, sue. she married at 16 to an actor that was 50, with her parents' consent. her only talent, or more accurately, her main reason for fame, is the marriage - that she was so young and that her husband was so much older than her. since they wed, she's enlarged her boobs and severely reduced the fabric in her wardrobe, not to mention started wearing crappy extensions and makeup that made her look like a middle aged woman.

on feminist sites the question has always been how much of her own agency does she possess in reality. on the reality shows she's appeared on, she talks like she's in charge of her life and decision-making, but her maturity level is such that people doubt her and thinks she is (or was) under her husband's thumb.

she appeared on a reality show in britain with other young people, got a sense of what it was like to be youthful, came back to america and split from her husband. you probably know this, and that he's apparently quite devastated.

sue i didnt meant to say you shouldnt use her for your avatar. i guess i should have been more specific. what i was fearful of was your comment about drawing certain people's attention to her. that's all, because i know the discussion would degenerate into vile name calling, and i cannot stand that, especially for someone who maybe deserves pity.
