i can understand the ones on ski hills but why aren't those sidewalks sanded/salted and the roads cleared?

I don't know where the videos were taken but in Montreal it takes DAYS to clear the roads and sidewalks.



When the roads are icy, best to stay in if you can help it. People slip and fall and break arms and legs every year.

With that being the case I wonder why people from Montreal laughed at the former Mayor of Toronto for calling in the army to help clear the snow in his city a few years back? Seemed like a reasonable request if you ask me.

Montreal is a big city and they clean every single road as compared to Edmonton where I live only major highways and bus routes are cleared and that takes days

I am not saying they don't eventually clear every street, but it does seem to take much longer than Toronto.

Montreal gets a ton more snow than Toronto you cant compare these two city..Montreal lies on a plateau Mont in french is mountain....
