A dancer who was captured on picture doing a hand-stand dance move while a male dancer pretended to pee on her by holding an unknown liquid on his genitals and spraying it on hers, has triggered reactions of shock and disgust by viewers and fellow dancers.
The picture of the outlandish dancing act was taken at a dancehall event, and shows the woman clad in a black top and black underwear positioning herself to resemble an open clothes pin, while the audience congregated around the two sporting shocked faces.
The picture, which was posted on Facebook recently, has received hundreds of shares and has triggered responses of disappointment and disgust.
A Facebook viewer wrote: "I don't know what we can do to help these young women who r just misguided. Over the years dancehall has always been raunchy but now its more like porn. Also, the guy, lets not let him off the hook, young sir, would you want a man to treat your sister like that?." the viewer said.
Another disturbed Facebook viewer wrote: "I'm so appalled what is happening to regular dancing ... the patrons faces speak for themselves. If this person was my friend or a family I would drop them ... women you should have respect for yourselves kmt ... I feel so ashamed and it's not me ... Oh my God".
Commenting on the picture, dancer, Keiva Di Diva, said up-and-coming acts in the entertainment industry are getting more daring each day in an attempt to get attention.
"I don't know what that is, I just don't have a clue. I don't know if its a new dance move, I am shocked I just don't know what that is. I don't know what is going on in the dancehall these days, I just think a lot of people are trying to make a name for themselves. But when you do things like that how are you going to maintain it? You see how Bob Marley's songs last and Bogle's dance moves? That is because the real thing always lasts and not the gimmicks, that is why when people do gimmick music it only last for six months," Keiva said.
In November last year, another female dancer allowed a male to place a concrete block on her face during another outlandish dance display. This stunt was later followed by the release of a controversial dance move called Walk Like A Dog and Cock Up and Piss created by another female dancer, TC.
