What did onoo REALLY Learn a Sunday School & Bible Knowledge Class?

Okay since this section includes contentious discussions that include religion mi a go post dis right yah soh.

Based on the responses to the Sunday School thread and the fact that Bible Knowledge was mandatory fi onoo....I did not grow up in Jamaica as you know....what did they REALLY teach onoo?

From some of the content me see some a onoo post, mi and frighten till mi nearly dead when onoo claim tse onoo did go a church, Sunday School and Bible Knowledge class.

Some a onoo claim tse you STILL go a church. You parson know de kind a slackness some a onoo post and the of some a onoo defend?

Seriously, what did they really teach you and what did you really learn. I see a HUGE disconnect and I am trying to understand it.

That's what you got out of Sunday School? Any type of behaviour is okay and not to be judged? What about all the other Bible verses that speak of how men and women are to conduct themselves? Were these not covered? Just wondering.

adults Jamaicans had no respect for children minds, feelings or intellect and mistake blind obedience with being a good child!
Fear and respect is not the same thing though it was transposed in the sunday school enviroment
u cannot learn in an enviroment where u are not able to question the central thesis ie virgin birth....
Why no one explained what vigin means though they go on about it.... is one of the eduring mystries....
I discovered that ancient greek myths were more interesting than bible stories
Anancy stories are more world relevant than church myth
female Jamaican christians are sexually frustrated and wore really awful perfume.....
christians are intoleratn of any ideas but their own version
Deodorant was not part of teh rural hygiene system as a child
