I have no issue with "communitee tandards' causing people to take action like they did in this case.

What I take issue with is the community taking it upon themselves to beat someone just because they decide to dress a certain way or if the public decide to form a mob to go after someone when there is even the smallest chance that there could be a case of mistaken identity or misinformation.
