but she is gwine to DC ...so who else a plan fi go

inauguaration time is a traffic and logistical nightmare round DC.

but mi call mi rep yessidey and mi will be at di church service.

mek sure mi nu haffi eat anyting, so mi nu haffi go bawtroom.

suh the lady have hotel room cause no room at the inn literally all holiday inn sold out and a charge 500 a night

want to be in washington for the inaugural day ? try virginia is the advice dem a gie out now

There are quite a few bus trips leaving from Toronto. I know Rosemary Sadlier is arranging for I believe 2 buses on behalf of the Ontario Black History Society.

I'm taking my children.

kia, i dont think out of towners really understand what DC will be like on that day.
people who work in the city on a normal day (if there is even such a thing for DC) can barely navigate things...
plus is nuff, fly-by-night smaddy mi see set up shop fi do this tour and that presentation, and this walk, etc. dem sting a whole heap ah dem mi hear on di news already.
dem nuh understand that is park police, eediat DC police, Capital Hill police, Secret Service, FBI, plus all the other agencies will di deh and of course all of them will be quoting, &quot;this agency has jurisdiction of this block.&quot; &lt;---them famous fi daht.
mi also pray dem understand the amount of walking that them will haffi do, as cabbies were put on notice by Fenty already, buses naw gwine run in town like normal (only metro rail), forget about regular vehicles which have always been prohibited within capital (downtown limits) during inauguation time.
mi hope &quot;just being in the atmosphere&quot; is enough for all of these folks, because if it isnt...
aye sah.

the hearings &quot;fi fine out wah went wrong&quot; that will gwan after the inauguration will be entertaining enough though. dem stawt wid it already.

ETA: mi have invite to the official church service and di amount of restriction/security precaution dem put on guests fi sinting daht last under 2 hours is awe inspiring. plus mi just fine out daht just cah dem have service nuh mean President-Elect will be in attendance. Can you imagine?
