It's Veteran's Day, so the brats are out of school. I swear, they get more holidays. Just last week they were out for four days for fall break or pre-winter break or somesuch.

We have remembrance day up here. Same thing pretty much as your Veteran's Day. Kids are in school though. Government workers and those that work for chartered banks enjoy a day off though.

Poor slobs like me have to work still.

New York teachers really have holidays with Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur and all that. The brats don't have those holidays down here.

Vets Day here but the kids are in school
they will have a Vets Day Assembly and Bre joined the school choir this year
so she was all nerves this morning as she will be singing in front of a crowd for the first time
I will be surprising her as she dont know that I will be there.
