memba seh dem days Independence was a biggggg celebration....dem use fi choose certain colours, fabric etc fi di festival time...fi some reason, Calico was seen as very Jamaican...guess cause we use fi use it wid di special plaid as Jcan fabric fi Jcan costumes...so dem did ha calico as festival fabric one year...plus calico is cheap r was cheap bak dem...mi can memba di polka dot festival fashion too...mi did ha dis wicked lime green wid hot pink polka dots pon it...cho...a tru u no know how everybody did eena dem festival/independence fashions....memories of sweeeeet Jamaica...

mi did enjoy all dat yaad had to offa...uppa country dem use fi ha fair pon Easter Monday, Independence Day and Boxing Day....town, u falla Jah Love , Merritone r wich eva streetdance a gwane...yeah man...streetdance use fi lick a Festival time....a no juss since Byron stawt fi him version a festival dat we use fi ha nice time an dat was in di 70s

mi a try memba a wich pawt u a tawk...mi know is not Mt Diablo cause dat is wen u go Spain Twn way ovah di mtns....Junction road , mi can ongle tink of di breakneck speed pon dem treacherous road deh...an would u believe seh one time we go pon hike from Golden Spring to Castleton an hitch ride pon a flat bed truck...mi mummah...u have not been terrorised until u deh pon a FLAT BED truck trying to heng awn pon di cabin bak while di driva seem to be trying to shake u awf di bak...mi mummah...neva again...wen him did stop an we get awf, mi no tink none a we cudda tawk fi tank him...an di brute did a laff too u know

Yeah an.. yuh a guh chue di winding road, and as u come up pon di bow of a hill, u bust a corner and there is the bars and a restaurant and bar pon di hill side a di road .. a think its a Orange building.

yeah man...u can siddung pon di flat bed ...oddas did do dat but couple a we did hole awn to di cabin...murda dat mi a tell u...murda....neva again ....fi years mi neva go pon a flat bed truck till one nite outta St Thomas mi tek fool go wid GT Taylor pon one a him shows arung di island... at least di flat bed was juss used as di stage but mi did still ha flashbaks an neva feel too sekkle pon it still
