A 14-year old Jamaican boy was fatally shot in Brooklyn, New York earlier this week.
Steven Graham was shot while riding his bicycle a few metres from his house.
Ironically, Steven who got in trouble with the law at an early age, was killed just days after being freed from wearing an electronic tracking ankle bracelet, which restricted his activities.
He was fitted with the ankle bracelet after being charged with drug related offences.
<span style="font-weight: bold">His mother still resides in Jamaica, while his father, also named Steven Graham, has been in a United States prison since June 2006 for second-degree murder. </span>
