As others have said she might want to move the age to 4 Y.O. and maybe she can they be in better standing with the Government of Jamaica, outside of the funding issues.

I think the fundamental question though is one of sustainability. Can her efforts be sustained over the long run?
Wouldn't it be better if she focused her efforts in providing the 1 meal per day and placing the children in better funded schools within the area?

the site is paid for by a teacher in california who visited the school a few years back.
I talked to ruth yesterday and she has set up a pay pal account and she is contacting unicef on monday now lets see what happens next.
