I fi wan think that word, &quot;abused&quot; gets thrown around too much. Dem days yah if yuh disagree wid certain smaddi, dem ready fi start accusation bout smadi abusive. Som ah dem people out deh ah bit too sensitive. Mi tink dat word need much tighter definition pan it.

I agree...growing up I use to think I was being abused everytime mi get beaten...looking back I realize that I was just fiesty and renk and outawda and if me was my mother mi wuddan kill mi long time

Yah man! By todays standard, di majority ah wi whe grew up inna JA was abused, by our parents, relatives, school, and di neighbours. Yet mos an wi moved on, an wi grew up to bi very successful, level headed, productive citizens.

Well.... di level headed part may bi ah bit of ah streach, since moase ah wi cracked and hav ah few screw loose!
