I think Dr Ben Carson should stick to what he knows best - neurosurgery. There are a lot of people in the US and in the world that need medical care. Perhaps he should do more mission trips to bring healthcare to all. Politics is a really dirty business and I would be disappointed in seeing his rep as a good person sullied by politics

The more I think about this thread I have to remind myself that it is not about which president was the best or which president was the worst.

Presidents are front men PERIOD!

They make no actual unilateral decisions affecting anything of importance to the nation. The PEOPLE and ORGANIZATIONS behind the scenes WHO PAID to get their candidate elected are making ALL the important policy decisions. The president is just there to read scripted speeches and statements and take part in photo ops. The president is the face of the administration but to suggest he has any real power is laughable.

Ben Carson has helped ALL mankind with his skills. He did not see black or white on the operating table.
He saw children that would die without his help. If Carson is the definition of a sambo-sellout prototype....

The framers of the constituion divided power in three ways to prevent tyranny. (the executive branch, the legislative branch, and the judicial branch) It's supposed to be a system of checks and balances.

Obama has plenty of power, Obama's problem is that he lacks leadership skills. Strong leaders with communication skills make good presidents. He lacks these qualities.

He promised to be the president of both red and blue America...So far he has failed.

I use to own a dog, a VERY strong, powerful dog. Part Husky, part German Shepherd. It kind of looked like a wolf. Not a lonewolf LOL! Seiously though, if you were walking along and it came running toward you most people would either turn and run or freeze in fear.

However, when I took that dog out for a walk, all that power was useless as long as I had it leashed.

The autors of the constitution provided a series of checks and balances, true. But they made assumptions and those assumptions do not hold water in the real way the country is run.

You are perciving things as how you were taught back in history class. Those were nice stories for us when we were young and nieve. But now we can see how things really run.

Those that hold the money hold the power. Those that get elected only serve those who have the power.

no one said anything about how he spoke or acted...it is what he says that i'm interested in more than the way he says it...he seems a decent honorable citizen...but some of the things i've heard him say shapes my opinion that he is a sambo sellout..

Ok, I agree with some of what you say, but I'll put a different spin on it using your analogy.

Your dog is on the leash for control. If not he would possibly bite, pee or poop where he shouldn't.

Sometimes the president is the dog, sometimes congress is the dog....checks and balances.

lol Judicial is sometimes the dog whisperer.

The problem today is that the dog is chasing his tail, the tail is wagging the dog, or dog has run around the leash holder in circles tying leash holder up, and now they both can't move.

Point is, when dog understands leash holder and leash holder understands dog it is an enjoyable walk. But, communication is key.

again it's not about one person did or didn't do; it's about the nation called the USA & its future...one can not go forward with clarity unless one makes an honest accounting of the past...false narratives have led to the present division & hatred in the country...it's true that the people are pawns; poor & middle-class whites have been duped into thinking that their greatest enemies are blacks & the poor---while the few elites run away with all the funds...
