The St Thomas police are investigating a grave robbery said to have been spearheaded by relatives of the deceased.
A family member Sonia Dixon told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that the deceased Bryan Turner was buried at the cemetery in July last year.
Dixon said on arrival, she noticed that the casket was smashed and most of the contents were missing.
The Morant Bay Police believe the grave may have been broken into by a family member in search of money relatives may have buried with the dead.
It is understood that only J$2,000 and a pair of Clarks shoes was with the deceased.
