Really need some help here

i got stopped at the border US/Canada friday nite by the New York State DOT for a random truck inspection.


heres the situation:

APPARENTLY my licence to drive in New York is suspended for a unpaid ticket i got in Clarkstown NY

the trooper gave me the info in Clarkstown NY, Rockland County.
he also gave me a phone number and a ref #.
the phone number he gave me is wrong for the courthouse.
anyone know how i can get the proper number to find out about this unpaid ticket

they also have a website call www.govpaynow.com-to which i was forced to use
