him is a reeeal penny pinching shylock.

seeing as i work nites, (from say 4 till 12) i drive to Buffalo, come back to Toronto. when i reach back, the offices lock up so i cant punch my timecard out. so the next day when i come in i tell the payroll lady my finish time.

nex i tell her i finish 2am. so the lady slide a picture from the security systym (when you enter the front gate-it take picture with the time). hear her-"it says here you came in 12:41am-so what you doing for 1 hr 15 min?"

my answer-simple: i "entered the gate 12:41- i took my hor lunch-WHICH the company deducts, then unloaded the truck which took 19 minutes.simple.
HEAR THIS!: there only going to pay mi until the truck comes in the gate .
as for my lunch, well she says, sometimes i have to wait in the line at the Border for an hour so thats my lunch

uuuum-I DONT THINK SO!!!! when im in the truck/ waiting at the border in line to cross, inside Federated Custom Brokers, US Customs-whichever-im on company time-NOT MINE. SO-LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT WITH THE COMPANY-MY LUNCH STARTS WHEN I <span style="font-size: 26pt">TURN THE KEY OFF AT THE TRUCK STOP </span> and im inside having a coffeee reading the newspaper.

so technically, if i dont take my lunch, she deducts the hour anyway. so im getting screwed out of 2 hours technically.

so im going to make sure the truck doesnt in the gate till 3am AND if im at customs for 2,3,4 hrs-im still taking my hour lunch-
like the other nite i sat in traffic cuz they had the QEW closed for a accident- i sat three hours. i got in at 6am- you know they asked why i was so late on the run- and i told them the highway closed and i had to sit- she deducted the three hours cuz i was sitting doing nothing.
NO- i was sitting behind the wheel of a 26 wheeler frustrated.

what a mentality. cuz im stuck in traffic, they feel they shouldnt have to pay me cuz the run should take no more than 7 hrs at most.

HO, sounds like you need to consult your employee handbook. What the lady is saying doesn't make a drop of sense.

Have you had a word with your manager regarding the situation or is Mz Hitler just telling you her version of how she interprets it.
