by the way (if this hombre's history is anything to go by) Tainos were the THIRD wave of people to come to Jamaica.
Sorry to burst yuh sensitive bubble, but Tainos have NO more a claim on Jamaica than the Chinese/ Africans/ East Indians/ Eastern Europeans or any other race of people that came to Jamaica.
Maybe yuh can claim Venezuela ...

the european model of antilian development claims multiple waves of migration from south america across the antilles.... Each coming wave coming from the same language group/ ethnic group.(all from Venezuela) Within the greater antilles there were esstentially three major groups each of the same root language.....(Ciboney- Taino- Carib) all a complex interaction....

The saladoids according to were an early iteration of Tainos.... ie like yahweh evolved into Jehovah.. so the saladoid evoled into Tainos is the current premis....

The power structure with in every single island was complex, changing and dependant on the particular island....There was not a single Taino hegmony...

However the Taino vision is in direct conflict with the post colonial socital development given that man was created in the caribean and spead outwards... not the other way round.....

Suh Tainos &quot;conveniently&quot; was incorporated with the people who preceded them. The Saladoids which they enslaved and drove to extinction on the island and the a Guanahatabey, which were before the Saladoids.
