A report by Vice indicates that racism within Israel has reached astronomical proportions and that Israelis who aren’t in favor of [COLOR=#009900 !important]living in[/COLOR] a nation plagued by racism are planning to leave.Israel’s offensive in Gaza has taken so many civilian lives, almost 2,000 at last count, that even President Obama’s most trusted White House adviser called Israel’s actions indefensible.
“It’s a devastating situation. Israel absolutely has the right to defend itself, and we are Israel’s staunchest ally. But you also can’t condone the killing of all of these innocent children,” Valerie Jarrett explained during her Sunday appearance on Face the Nation.
Israel’s anti-Arab and anti-African sentiment is taking a toll on those who live within the country’s borders as well.

Perhaps the biggest victims of this fanaticism have been refugees from sub-Saharan Africa. Locked up in detainment centers, they’ve faced abuse from almost every part of the Israeli establishment. From the hundreds of Rabbisbanning Jews from [COLOR=#009900 !important]renting apartments to Africans, to politicians like Eli Yishai, the ultra-orthodox Interior Minister who in 2012 said“until I can deport them I’ll lock them up to make their lives miserable.”[/COLOR]
As The Daily Beast reported in 2013, Israel instituted Jim Crow in Tel-Aviv schools by segregating kindergarten:According to a report published by Ynet (Hebrew edition), the city built the new preschools for black children after Jewish-Israeli residents of the inner city area threatened to keep their children at home rather than allow them to learn how to count, fingerpaint and play on the swings alongside their peers from Eritrea and Sudan.
As Vice also noted, “half of all Jewish Israeli high school students said Arab-Israelis should not receive the same set of rights as Jews,” which has many non-racist Israelis running for the hills.
