The Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) is reporting that the 52 acre Denbigh Show Ground property in the central parish of Clarendon, is now out of the hands of Financial Sector Adjustment Company Limited (FINSAC).
JAS President, Senator Norman Grant, on Friday said after holding negotiations with FINSAC several weeks ago, the property is now back in the hands of the island's farmers.
He also announced that society has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chinese government, for the opening of a farm store in the western section of the island next month.
