Saw it today.... very sad.
There are so many strays in Chile...where I think this happened they are culling them.
I did not know that both were saved I thought they were going to be destroyed as well!

I thought it was pretty amazing that a dog could act so altruistically... and so bravely. But it is sad, and rough for sure.
