Was supposed to go to the city to listen to a reading of "A Christmas Carol" but I made the argument it too cold for our country bumpkins to walk round

Ungle time me did was go my office holiday party on Satdeh night. It did alright. Dem scale it down from previous years...not as extravagant. But still nice just the same. Plenty place didn't keep on dis year, so me was glad fi di likkle enjoyment.

Sunday I stayed home and recoup.

Weekend was alright...nothing out of the ordinary.

Slept most day on Saturday until my son asked to drop him at work
Went grocery shopping since I was already out there
Made a great pot of turkey neck soup
Went to bed.

Woke up Sunday morning to sound of my daughter standing over me with breakfast in bed
Ate
Got ready
Went to church
Came home
Went to bed
Woke up to my daughter telling me supper is ready
Went back to sleep

Went back to bed
Woke up at 10 p.m. because one man called
Chat to him fi a likkle while
Wrote the weekly promise
sent it out
went back to sleep
Woke up this morning
Decided not to go in so I'm working from home.

stayed with colleeks of di current mr ilp, they were the nicest hosts i've had in a long time.
woke up next mawnin...dek out inna football gear. left for di current mr ilp bizness meeting. while im conducking bizness, mi galivant all bout Lucas Oil Stadium. Di sites...di sites
Watch game...it did kinna boring doh.

Went to one nice likkle Italian Restaurant ahn had dinner.
Went back to wi hosts house.
Get up dis mawnin.
Reach airport.
Sit on runway for 1 1/2 hours (dem had fi clean runway, di-ice plane, wait in line fi tek off)
Reach backa Charlotte had fi ketch golf cart ride to next gate, board plane reach home 10 minutes before wi was supposed to arrive

mi home going through mail.

it was great, I went and "palled" around wid some ppl in detroit.
Met some nice tings but de drive home in de snow stawm was not fun at all.

My team hosted a step team competition at my school on Saturday. We raised $1300 and only 5 teams were competing. We are going to help HIV women in Uganda to become self-sufficient. Last year we gave 2 scholarships of $1000 each to students. This year I want to help organizations in Africa. My next competition is March 23, and I am expecting 11 teams.
