from reading the article i dont see a promotion. as a matter of fact it comes over as this guy never knew for certain in jamaica anyone who was gay as he associates gay with unusual behaviour. he also see being gay as something foreign which would give him culture shock - the first real gay he met was from the Virgin Islands. </div></div>

i dont see where the writer is funny and that is where i am prompting for you to point that out. he has a lot of funny family members. it comes over as he is being tolerant even in school i dont see where he was on the gay side.
