It's a fine car. However, a used 300C SRT-8 is your best bet.

Thanks. Can you tell me what the differences are? Why the 300C SRT-8? I did see that one on the website.

I am not sure about buying a car that has had several drivers. One owner is fine but I guess I would have to see and drive the car.

Need to know a few tips. I can get a discount through my job and/or my Union membership. If anyone is in the Atlanta/Norcross/Duluth area in GA and knows of a Dealership who is offering the best deals, please let me know.

even tho a rental ..
it has low mileage ..
driving styles should not have a major effect on this car ..
it should be in fairly good condition ..

check it out ..
and see if you can barter a lower price ..
in this time when cars are not selling ..
each dealership/salesman ..
is lookig for a sale ..

Thanks. It was one of the better deals I received and I want it black. I plan to go look for it tomorrow. Just wanted some opinions if it sounded like a good deal. I know how some people dog out rentals but with the 300, they might have been a lot more careful. I've got to work on my bargaining skills though. I know they want to sell as much as I want to buy and the odds are gonna be largely in my favor. Get a good deal then slap out my discount.

Got this emailed to me.

1.2006 Brilliant Black 300 (used): 3.5L High Output V6 with a 5sp trans, when it was new the MSRP was 34,582; base price on it is17,500 plus tax, tag and title........this is loaded with features from the two tone leather, power and heated seats, Navigation with a 6-disc in dash changer, it is a Signature Series and was the top of the line when it came out.

2. 2007 Marine Blue 300 (new): 2.7L DOHC V6 with a 4sp trans, the MSRP on the vehicle is 25,845; base price on it is 18,999 plus tax, tag, and title.....this is more of a base model with very few bells and whistles.

3. 2007 Bright Silver 300 (new): 3.5L 24V V6 with a 5sp trans, the MSRP on the vehicle is 33,285; the base on this one is 24,999 plus tax, tag and title......this is more in the middle of the road when it comes to features, it has leather, power heated seats, chrome accents and wheels, and is equipped with sirius satellite

mii look itt upp inna 2009 consumer report. itt sey de v8 engine more reliable dan de v6. itt also sey iihs crash test were poor widdout de optional side air bags. addar dan dat itt rated very good

Print and take with you. I had a bad experience as a woman and nuh want no other woman to have one. Dem tek advantage since you are a woman so don't be afraid to tell them you will be back or say let me see what other dealers have to offer me. Please do not jump on the the first offer go home and think it over. Use the line "let me see what the other dealers has to offer". Stay firm on that response. Do make sure you check out other dealers too to compare prices.

Thanks for that. So far, I have not seen an offer with the optional side air bags. Just the front.

Yeah, that's why I told them not to call me, send emails. I got another email today saying "just touching bases". I replied that I got the offers but I am still checking with other dealers for the best price. I will try to get one of my brothers to go with me when I make the decision because I am very indecisive and I know they will jump on that.

Bummer though! Just found out my company discount may not apply unless I purchase a new car. I am more interested in a preowned car. But I will still check into it.

you can get a good deal pan new cyaar, de ball is very much in your corner.

Most companies don't give discounts pan used cyaar.

I heard yesterday that the discount depends on if the car is certified or programmed. If neither of those for preowned cars, then it would have to be bought new.

The problem is that I am trying to transition from AT&T to the IRS. The discount is with AT&T but if the job with the IRS is not going to fall through, I won't get the car now. I'm trying to make the end of year incentives for 2008. I hate car notes and AT&T don't pay like they should so I don't want to get too rushy rushy and create a bill for myself that I am not ready for.

Well, I went to look at 2 cars yesterday.

1. Black Pearl 2008 22K miles 15,988. 2.7L engine. No discount due to internet price. Cloth seats. Very good condition considering it was a rental for 8 months. Bummer is car came in Oct. at 21,533 but Manager drives it home everyday and is now at 22K miles.

2. Black Pearl 2006 37+ miles. 3.5L engine. Touring package w/sunroof and Nav system and 6 disc changer. Leather 2 toned seats. Was 1 owner leased. Have to add extended warranty but promises a discount. Was 17,500 but matched price of car above and willing to shave off a couple more hundreds. Very good condition.

Took a poll and car #2 is winning 6-0. What ya'll think??
